Editor in Chief of Research Connections, Senior Health Adviser to the Royal National Institute for Deaf People (RNID), Non-Executive Director for Your Healthcare, and an external adviser to the UK’s National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR). He is internationally recognised for his leadership and development of biomedical journals, digital health tools, and evidenced based healthcare products. Some of his roles in the past have included Executive Editor at The Lancet, Editor in Chief at the BMJ Evidence Centre, and Vice President for Clinical Solutions at Wiley. He has also worked as a longstanding adviser to the UK’s National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), and as a member of the Cochrane Collaboration’s Editorial Review Committee.
