Paul Driver is the Director of Simulated Learning at Anglia Ruskin University. He specialises in immersive educational scenario creation and holds an M.A. in Creative Media Practice in Education. He has 25 years of language teaching experience and is an award-winning educational materials writer, a teacher trainer and a graphic designer. Paul has been nominated for four British Council ELTons Teaching Innovation Awards and, in 2018, he received the national Learning Technologist of the Year Award. This year he has been shortlisted for the Times Higher Education Most Innovative Teacher of the Year. Paul's research interests span across many fields, exploring the roles of technology, game design, agency, and situated cognition in the process of learning.
