Mark Richard is OUP’s Senior Professional Development Consultant. He lives in Taipei, Taiwan with his wife and story-loving daughter. He has 23 years of ELT teaching and training experience across continents, cultures, and types of institutions. He is curious about everything and seeks to ignite his students’ curiosity as a first step in building their motivations and capacities to develop as independent language learners. He is currently studying for a postgraduate degree in Digital Education to explore his thoughts about the roles of technology in language teaching and learning.
