Joe McVeigh

Co-author, Q: Skills for Success

Joe McVeigh is co-author of two books in the Q: Skills for Success series from Oxford University Press, now in their 4th edition. Joe is an independent consultant and author who lives in Middlebury, Vermont in the northeastern part of the United States where he teaches prospective teachers at Middlebury College and Saint Michael’s College. He has worked with students from more than 45 countries and conducted program reviews, professional development, or accreditation consulting for many intensive English programs. He is a frequent presenter at the international TESOL conference and a two-time board member of the TESOL International Association. He has lived or worked overseas in China, India, Hungary, Chile, Peru, Saudi Arabia, and the UK. He has visited more than 80 English language programs as a site visit representative for CEA-the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation and served as an English Language Specialist for the U.S. Department of State. He holds an B.A. in English and American Literature from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island and an M.A. in TESOL from Biola University in La Mirada, California.
