Join us for this practical and interactive webinar where experienced educator and trainer, Lisette Martin, will take you through the step-by-step process of teaching a sound using the Floppy’s Phonics programme at Levels 1+ to 3.

Who is this training for?
All teachers and schools who are new to teaching with Floppy’s Phonics as well as those who are currently teaching using Floppy’s Phonics who want to deepen their understanding of the teaching sequence and refine their classroom practice.

What will the training cover?
Lisette will explore in detail how to teach a sound effectively, highlighting the key Floppy’s Phonics components and their role in the teaching sequence. You’ll watch Lisette model a full lesson, with opportunities to ask questions throughout. The session will also focus on securing essential routines for blending, segmenting, and handwriting.
You’ll leave the session feeling confident and ready to deliver engaging and effective phonics lessons in your classroom.

Floppy’s Phonics Online Training Programme
This digital training programme consists of approximately 2 hours of online learning over 3 courses with a certificate of completion at the end of each course. As you can see, course 3 content will be similar to the live webinar but courses 1 and 2 will provide an excellent introduction to phonics and phonics teaching if you are new to this or need a bit of a refresher. You can work through these at your own pace and pause and resume the training as often as you like to fit around your schedule.
