Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) play an important role in the tests and quizzes that language learners encounter in their academic careers. Regardless of what exams they take, curricula or materials they use, or country they are in, they will answer thousands of questions following this format.
For this reason, it is important that educators understand this question type well. This includes not only being able to analyze and identify well-written and effective MCQs, but also understanding and applying the various techniques and approaches that are used to write them. Participants in this webinar will have opportunities to do all these things! They will also come away with a greater appreciation of MCQs, and the confidence to design MCQs for their students.
