Classroom management refers to the decisions an educator makes regarding the teaching materials, resources, the physical environment, and time to support the learning objectives and goals of the curriculum. Effective classroom management is crucial because it can have a positive impact on the learning abilities and outcomes for each young student.
In this presentation, we explore how educators recognize and apply appropriate classroom management strategies and methods for the young learner - or primary - language classroom. We will examine the three following questions:
1. What is the importance of proper classroom management for young learner/ primary classrooms?
2. What possible benefits, challenges, and various aspects should educators consider in classroom management?
3. What are different strategies of classroom management for the young learner/primary classroom available for ELT educators?
