We have invited expert speaker Dr Karem Roitman, author of Oxford International Curriculum's Global Skills Projects and director of Thinkers Meet Up Ltd, to showcase why project-based learning is the essential ingredient your international classroom needs. She will be sharing the benefits of project-based learning and offering practical strategies that you can implement in your schools.

    Dr Karem Roitman
    Karem is the lead author of the Oxford International Curriculum for Global Skills Projects and has worked in education, from primary to university, for over 20 years. She previously managed IGCSE courses for a large international school and currently teaches civic philosophy to children 7-16 as well as lecturing on Political Philosophy and International Development for the Open University.

    Regional PD Lead, Oxford International Programme
    Penny Butterworth is an educational specialist working as a Schools Relationship Manager and Regional PD Lead. She supports schools with educational resources, international qualifications, and delivers training across Asia, recently delivering a wide range of bespoke training for teachers.
